Ann describes herself as an ordinary woman. She was a “war baby” conceived before her dad went out to sea and grew up in a middle class family outside of Los Angeles. She was married young, widowed and has 4 children, many grandchildren and great grands as well. Family was always her primary goal. Ann felt that being a mother was the most important career in her life; but fate stepped in and dictated her life in many directions; the first being into the field of nursing where she has worked for over 40 years. Although she has worked in many areas of nursing she feels she has made her final stop in hospice as a registered nurse helping families deal with the end of life.
